Two City Councillors Sworn-In at Ceremony

Recently elected city councillors Peggy Doyle and Guy Richard were officially sworn-in to their new roles in a ceremony at City Hall on Thursday, April 24th, 2025.

Judge Matthew Cripps had the councillors swear their Oath of Office and sign it before each took their official seat at the council table.

Both Doyle and Richard offered their thanks and appreciation to citizens of Miramichi for their support in the recent by-election and said they were looking forward to getting to work with their fellow councillors on various files and issues.
