The City of Miramichi contracts Maritime Enforcement Services Inc. to provide By-Law Enforcement Services for the City. They investigate by-law or regulatory contraventions under the Local Governance Act as well as City by-laws related, but not limited to, noise disturbances, unsightly premises, parking, and garbage collection. The Service also provides information and education to the public with respect to various by-laws.
