City and MAPP sign Collective Agreement

City of Miramichi Mayor Adam Lordon and Miramichi Association of Police Professionals (MAPP) President Grant Fiander were joined by Assistant Clerk Stacey Dunfield and MAPP secretary Cpl. Ethan Baisley for the signing of the agreement.

Following the ratification of the collective agreement between the City of Miramichi and Miramichi Association of Police Professionals by City Council on December 3rd, 2024, it was officially signed on December 11th.

Mayor Adam Lordon and MAPP President Grant Fiander signed the three year agreement which covers the period of January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2027.

MAPP members will see annual wage adjustments of 3.75 per cent per year for year 1 and 2; and 3 per cent per year for year 3.

MAPP voted to ratify the tentative agreement on November 25, 2024.
