Building a brighter future for Miramichi

The construction of the Miramichi Wellness Multiplex is underway of Douglastown Boulevard. The facility will offer an 1860 seat arena, walking track, double gymnasium, 25m/6 lane competition pool, leisure pool as well as enhanced community spaces - all of which incorporate sustainable design features.
This exciting project, expected to open in the fall of 2026, is now progressing through procurement and early construction stages. Stay tuned as we continue to share updates on this development that is sure to benefit the community and create a vibrant hub for all to enjoy.
Ongoing activities
Procurement of various sub contractors and supply contracts

Site clearing, grading and preparation is complete
Building foundations and arena cast concrete walls
