Sidewalk replacement work begins May 30th on University Avenue

The City of Miramichi Engineering Department advises motorists that beginning Thursday, May 30th, 2024, sidewalk replacement of a portion along University Avenue between St. Thomas Street and the second NBCC Entrance will begin.
Work in this area is expected to last approximately one week. During this time lane reductions and flagging will be necessary in order to facilitate the work.
Motorists are asked to drive with caution and use alternative routes where possible as construction crews strive to complete this work in a timely manner.
