Garbage / Recycle change for holiday pickup

Due to garbage and recycling pickup falling on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, the following changes will be made:

  • The Christmas Day pickup for December 25th will be moved to Boxing Day, December 26th. This will affect part of Newcastle (recycling) & Loggieville/Taintville area (garbage). 

  • The New Year’s Day pickup for January 1st will be moved to to January 2nd. This will affect part of Newcastle (garbage) and Loggieville/Taintville (recycling).

  • All other garbage and recycle schedules will remain the same.
