PUBLIC HEARING

CITY OF MIRAMICHI

The City of Miramichi intends to consider an amendment to By-Law No. 110 entitled “City of Miramichi Zoning By-Law”.

The purpose of the proposed amendment is to amend Schedule “A” - Zoning Map of the City of Miramichi Zoning By-Law (By-Law No. 110) to change the zoning from “Single or Two Unit Dwelling (R-2)” to “Medium Density B (R-4)” for the subject property described as PID 40386997 located off Percy Kelly Drive, in the City of Miramichi.

The proposed amendment is required for a portion (4.23 acres) of the subject property to allow the construction of 5 (8 Unit) rowhouses.

Interested parties may inspect the proposed by-law online at the City’s website www.miramichi.org by searching “Proposed By-Laws”, or at the City Hall during regular operating hours.

Objections to the proposed by-law, which are presented in writing, shall be considered at a public hearing to be held at City Hall, 141 Henry Street, on May 14, 2024, at 6:15 p.m. Anyone wishing to support or oppose those objections may do so at that time and place.
