Summer Student Employment - Lifeguards

The City of Miramichi is now accepting applications for summer employment for students.

The following summer employment opportunities are available:

Lifeguards

Eligibility Requirements:

  1.  Must be enrolled full time in high school, community college or university

  2. Continuing your studies in the 2025-2026 academic year

  3. You cannot apply if you already have graduated from a university or have a degree

  4. Candidates must hold a valid Bronze Cross certification.  Training for Swim Instructor and National Lifeguard will be provided to the successful applicants.   

Your application should include:

  1.  Your Resume

  2. Roles you are applyinghumanresources@miramichi.org

  3. Proof you were attending school in 2024-2025 full time.

  4. Verification of enrollment for 2025/2026 Academic Year (Letter from Registrar’s office indicating)
