Clerk’s Department

The City Clerk’s Department is responsible for the permanent documentation of all city by-laws, resolutions, contracts, Council agendas and Council minutes; maintenance of records; public procurement; and issuance of various licenses.

Staff provides secretarial support to Council, responds to requests from Council for information, assists Council with their correspondence needs and responds to citizen inquiries. Staff also provide advice on Council and Committee procedures.
