Miramichi Cross Country Ski Club The Miramichi Cross-Country Ski Club offers cross country skiing, snowshoeing and biathlon programs for all ages. The club maintains 25 km (15.53 mi.) of groomed trails suitable for cross country skiers with all levels of experience. Ten of these are groomed for skate skiing. There are 4 km (2.49 mi.) of lighted trails that are open until 9:30 PM. There are 6 km (3.73 mi.) of well-marked snowshoe trails through woodlands leaving from the club house. The club offers instructional programs for youth aged 5-13 and free lessons for adults. There are also instructional biathlon programs for all ages. The club holds a provincial Loppet event each year as part of the New Brunswick Loppet circuit. The club also holds social activities throughout the season with group outings and pot luck suppers. Many out of town skiers travel to the Miramichi to ski on what they describe as the ‘best trails in the Maritimes’. The club offers season memberships as well as day passes and rentals for both skiing and snowshoeing.

Fletcher’s Sleigh Rides – Enjoy a sleigh ride through a wooded trail to a cozy camp. Warm up with some hot chocolate and then tryout the sliding hill in front of the camp. Rides can be booked 7 days a week, afternoons or evenings. Minimum 10 people per trip.
