The Miramichi Regional Multicultural Association (MRMA) and various ethno-cultural associations, are community non-for-profit groups to support newcomer immigrants to the region and celebrate our different identities together.

The Miramichi Regional Multicultural Association provides free and confidential services to actual and potential immigrant newcomers.

This includes but is not limited to:

Settlement services
Language training
Employment counselling
Support and referral services
Social events and activities
Housing
Health
Education
Transportation
Spiritual and Pastoral Services
Ethno-Cultural Contacts

MRMA also promotes education, understanding, communication, and harmony among all cultures; and, advocates for the interests of people of all heritages.
Among its members, MRMA has over 35 different national origins. This is quite a variety for a region of 48,000 residents! MRMA welcomes newcomers and not-so-new Canadians free membership, to visit the MRMA office, or come out to open social and recreational events.
